The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has confirmed that the 2025 Batch ‘C’ Orientation Course will begin on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, in all orientation camps nationwide.
In a statement signed by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, the NYSC announced that registration for all prospective corps members will take place from Wednesday, November 19, to midnight on Friday, November 21, 2025.
Embu said the swearing-in ceremony is scheduled for Friday, November 21, while the closing ceremony will hold on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.
She added that the Director-General, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, has extended his best wishes to all prospective corps members, urging them to travel safely and avoid night journeys as they proceed to their respective camps.
Earlier, the NYSC disclosed via its official X handle that call-up numbers for Batch C prospective corps members had been released. The scheme explained that the numbers were assigned according to the order of registration.
However, the statement noted that only about 40 per cent of registered corps members would participate in the forthcoming orientation exercise due to space constraints across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
The management assured that those unable to secure placement would be accommodated in the next orientation batch.
